Encounter : What grammar for the French-speaking world?

Evenings

Activity open to the public.

Beyond our differences of accent and vocabulary, the French-speaking world is above all a syntax, as Bernard Cerquiglini reminds us.

The Grande grammaire du français, published in 2021 by Editions Actes Sud, tackles the challenges of identifying syntactic variations and how to teach them.

Anne Abeillé, professor of linguistics at Université Paris Cité, will be presenting the book. Cécile Ladjali, teacher and writer, director of the Baudelaire programme, and Jean d'Amérique, poet, will take part in the debate and read some of their texts
