Litterary encounter: Lenka Horňáková-Civade

Born in 1971 in the Czech Republic, Lenka Horňáková-Civade lives in France, where she moved to Provence in 1998. She is a journalist, painter and writer, who wrote her first three books in Czech before starting to write in French in 2015, translating her texts into Czech herself. 
She was awarded the Prix Renaudot des lycéens in 2016 for her first novel in French, Giboulées de soleil, and the Prix littéraire Richelieu de la francophonie in 2019 for her next one, Une verrière sous le ciel. 
For this new "En français dans le texte" meeting, she will talk about her latest novel,  Un regard bleu. Published in January 2022 by Alma éditeur, she wrote it during a residency at the Czech Center in Paris in 2021.
