16 August
After
breakfast, orientation test and French lessons at the Alliance Française.
Use your "carte orange" (season ticket) just as Parisians do!
Paris is yours!
Discover on foot the Marais area: a treasure hunt awaits you. Go
to the St. Paul metro station from where you will follow an itinerary
that will take you on a discovery trip of beautiful hotels, where
sleeping would be a sheer waste of time and finish the trip at Île
St. Louis, behind Notre Dame. Return to the Centre for dinner around
20 hrs. A film show.
Back to your rooms.

Tuesday
17 August
After breakfast,
French lessons at the Alliance Française.
In the afternoon discover the popular Paris : a different Paris,
looked at from a different angle.
Get to the unusual Belleville and set off on a novel itinerary.
Return to the Centre for dinner. An evening of dance at the Maurice
Ravel Centre "brother" of Kellermann in the 12th district.
Back to your rooms.

Wednesday
18 August
After
breakfast, French lessons at the Alliance Française.
Paris boasts of 100 museums! One must thus choose!
Why not the historical collections at the Georges Pompidou National
Museum of Modern Art in the Halles area which houses works by
Picasso, Matisse, Braque and Léger.
Return to the Centre for dinner.
In the evening you will discover by boat the royal route of
Paris: the Seine from the Eiffel Tower to the Library of France.

Thursday
19 August
After
breakfast, French lessons at the Alliance Française.
In the afternoon, initiation to oenology, the science of vines and
wine (a 2 hour session).
During the late afternoon, relax at the open air swimming pool next
to Maurice Ravel.
Drinks offered by the Parisians await you on the terrace at 19 hrs.
Joint dinner at Maurice Ravel.
Back to your rooms.

Friday
20 August
After
breakfast, French lessons at the Alliance Française.
In the afternoon, trip to the Science and Industry City at the
Villette, the transformed old slaughter houses of Paris where
you can learn about our common wealth: the Earth.
The musicians will go to Cité de la Musique, beyond the garden.
The others can admire the vine foliage behind the St. Martin
canal.
Have a picnic on the grass while waiting for night fall and
an open air film show.
Back to your rooms. |

Saturday
21 August
After
breakfast feel free to do whatever you feel like. It is perhaps
the moment to write a word to all those you love! Make the best
of the afternoon by visiting a Parisian cultural : the Louvre
or the Orsay Museum, or even go cycling or rollerskating.
Return to the Centre for dinner.
In the evening, taste a famous ice cream on the banks of the Seine,
part of Unesco's Heritage list, near the "Institut du Monde Arabe"
(World Arab Institute).
Back to your rooms.

After
breakfast, it is Sunday like it is for all Parisians!
A trip to the open air market at the Bastille, opposite the Opéra
and get ready for a picnic at the Bois de Vincennes while listening
to jazz music, stretched out on the grass.
Return to the Centre for dinner.
Back to your rooms.

23 August
After
breakfast, French lessons at the Alliance Française.
In the afternoon discover the new Paris: the Bercy area and its
beautiful garden.
You will end up on the wooden terrace of the Library of France where
a new Paris seems to emerge from under the ground.
Catch a movie at the recently opened MK2 complex.
Return to the Centre for a cold dinner.
Back to your rooms.

After
breakfast, French lessons at the Alliance Française.
In the afternoon you will make a trip by coach to meet the Impressionists
at Auvers-sur-Oise, this is the best season to go there.
"Surprise" dinner.

This
morning, sing "Aux Champs Elysées ».
Meet your guide for a walk up the famous avenue to Arc de Triomphe,
Place de l'Etoile.
Then discover the area of La Défense district at the end
of the morning.
After lunch, a 2 hour course in oenology - The science of wines.
Return to the Centre for dinner.
Your evening is open, to discover the 'in" bars of Oberkampf
Back to your rooms.

After
breakfast, French lessons at the Alliance Française.
In the afternoon you will go up to the 56th floor of the Montparnasse
Tower before going to a place of great symbolical significance
to the Parisians, indeed to the French : the stadium of France!
Return to the Centre for dinner.
